It’s a happy Friday indeed as we’ve just discovered that we have been nominated for 3 UK Search Awards.

With some incredible results, we’ve been nominated for the following categories and work:

1. Best Use of Search – Travel/Leisure (PPC) for our work with Lyme Bay Holidays – in a year where the travel industry was hit with government sanctions that essentially force-stopped operations at various points in the year, we were still able to achieve record-breaking occupancy rates of 97% and Lyme Bay’s strongest summer ever.

2. Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign for our work with The Grand – in a difficult period for the travel industry and hotels in particular, we refocused our strategy on The Grand’s experiential packages and targeted local audiences, we secured coverage in both national publications such as The Daily Star and local ones like The Yorkshire Evening Post.

3. Best Local Campaign (SEO) for our work with The Grand – local visibility and traffic for The Grand has been more important than ever when travel restrictions meant audiences couldn’t go far, we managed to achieve an increase traffic from the York area by 93%.

A huge thank you to our team for all of the hard work that they put into these strategies, and congratulations on gaining these prestigious nominations.

A massive pat on the back to all of the other nominees too, we’re very proud to be shortlisted amongst such talented teams across the UK.

Well done to everyone who made the shortlist, and good luck! See you on the 16th of November for the awards ceremony, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed until then.
