If you’re looking to progress your SEO skillset and strategic marketing ability in a supportive and down-to-earth environment – you could be our new Senior SEO Executive.

In this role, you’ll gain experience across all aspects of an organic marketing strategy, beginning to take the lead on quarterly strategies and define the direction of your approach based on a number of factors.

Not only will you refine your technical ability within an industry-leading SEO team, but you’ll develop your strategic marketing knowledge, aligning SEO activity with consumer behaviour and wider client business goals; skills which will be invaluable to a successful marketing career.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out monthly technical SEO health checks
  • Carry out technical SEO reviews
  • Lead on quarterly organic strategies for your clients
  • Create and implement SEO audits and strategies
  • Use your advanced knowledge of SEO analysis tools to influence and evolve strategies
  • Support on keyword research and technical analysis to support new business pitches
  • Analyse content positions and create strategies to support campaign objectives
  • Research and analyse competitor activity
  • Analyse the opportunity of SERP features (local, Shopping, images etc.)
  • Create backlink audits and opportunity analysis to define briefs for the digital PR team

About You

  • At least 12 months’ experience in an SEO-focused role, with agency experience as a bonus
  • You keep yourself up to date with developments in the SEO industry
  • You have a strong sense of initiative and responsibility – you can self-motivate without micromanagement and are driven to do an excellent job to the deadlines you’ve set
  • You work well in a small team
  • You have a solid grasp of technical SEO principles
  • You have experience writing / optimising content for SEO
  • You have experience using GA, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, and a range of SEO tools to analyse performance against your account and understand the impact your work has made
  • You know how to apply performance impact and explain how this results in a change to your strategy
