We’re offering the opportunity for a Content Strategist to play an influential role in the success and digital growth of many exciting brands, as well develop and progress a flourishing marketing career within a down-to-earth and supportive environment.

As our new Content Strategist, you’ll play a key role in developing content strategies that align with our clients’ wider marketing and business objectives, creating content plans that span a range of content formats and topics that aid and improve the target audience’s user journey, then work with our team and clients to bring your plans to life.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, predominantly SEO, digital PR and social organic, to feed into multi-channel strategies that genuinely have a profound impact on the growth of our clients’ businesses.

Working alongside a friendly team, you’ll have the freedom and flexibility to explore your passions and strengths within content marketing to build the career you want to have.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the creation of content strategies by engaging in and leading team brainstorms, working closely with other production teams.
  • Curate and advise on recommended content types, including but not limited to blog posts, guides, inspiration, and category and product pages.
  • Work closely with our network to ensure content is produced to your standards.
  • Ensure that the correct tone of voice and brand guidelines are applied to all content created.
  • Proof and sense check content from others in the team and external sources, as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, communicating directly with clients regarding your content plans and deliverables.
  • Develop content strategies that support wider business goals and feed them into a multi-channel strategy.

About You:

  • You’ll have experience creating innovative, varied content strategies, incorporating ideas for content throughout a user’s journey.
  • You’ll have a strong understanding of how tone of voice and brand guidelines play a key role in content writing and strategy development.
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience working within a content strategy, content marketing, or copywriter role. Agency experience is desirable but not essential.
  • You’re always eager to continue building your knowledge about the role content strategy has in overall performance.
  • You’ll have an understanding of digital marketing, digital PR, social organic, and SEO.
  • You’ll be able to work well to your own initiative and take responsibility for your own workload and deadlines.
  • You’ll know how to apply SEO best practices to content.
  • You’ll be passionate about the quality of your work, have a strong desire to see the project through, and show great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A flexible individual, comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with reporting tools and demonstrating the value of content would be a bonus but is not a requirement.
